Shandong Inner Mongolia

Where do the peanuts come from? The peanuts are sourced from two organic agricultural projects in China. One project is located in the province of Shandong; the other is located in Inner Mongolia. Both projects have been fair trade certified by FLO (Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International). On this basis, UNUECO peanut butter is authorised to
bear the Fairtrade/Max Havelaar certification mark. This guarantees that the peanuts have been purchased at a fair price, in keeping with international Fairtrade trading conditions, from farming organisations in developing countries. Thus a direct contribution is made to better living and working conditions for farmers.
